What Secordit is

Secordit Intelligence is a UK company that writes cyber security guides, checklists and templates. It exists for people who don't have an IT specialist to ask. Every kit is a download, written in plain English.

Who it helps

Secordit writes for UK small businesses, sole traders and households. Some kits are written for businesses, such as preparing for a Cyber Essentials questionnaire or handling a data protection complaint. Others suit anyone, at home or at work, such as locking down your email, phone and online accounts.

How it works

The steps are drawn from NCSC guidance and other public UK sources. These include the ICO, Report Fraud, Ofcom, Take Five and Stop Scams UK.

Secordit isn't part of the NCSC or the government, and its kits aren't made or endorsed by the NCSC. The kits are practical help, not a guarantee.

There are no sales calls. You download the kit that fits your question and work through it in your own time.

Who's behind it

Secordit Intelligence was set up in February 2026 by Matthew Protheroe-Hill, its director. Before that, he co-founded Sencode Cyber Security and was a director there from 2019 to 2023. Qualification: BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networks (1st Class), Teesside University.
