Refund policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to the digital kits sold by Secordit Intelligence Ltd through secordit.co.uk. Every kit is a one-off digital download.

2. Digital products

Apart from your legal rights set out in sections 2A and 3, we don't offer a separate money-back promise on digital products.

Apart from cancelling under section 2A, refunds are not normally provided because a buyer changed their mind, no longer needs the product, expected a feature not included in the product listing, or did not achieve a particular commercial, regulatory or compliance outcome.

2A. Your 14-day cancellation right for digital content (consumers)

If you're a consumer, UK law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content, starting the day after you buy. This right comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

For products that show a consent box at purchase, before you can buy we ask you to tick it to give your express consent to the download being made available before the 14-day cancellation period ends, and to acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the download or access has begun. The box isn't ticked in advance. If an order is ever placed without the box being ticked, you keep your 14-day right to cancel even if you have already downloaded it. We confirm your consent and acknowledgement on the thank-you page and in the payment receipt Stripe emails you. For any other digital product, we don't ask for this consent. You can cancel within the 14 days even if you've already downloaded or accessed it.

At checkout you tick a box agreeing to the Terms and asking for your download before the 14-day cancellation period ends. You understand you lose your right to cancel once the download starts. Your download link appears on the thank-you page and works for 24 hours.

To cancel, email [email protected] with the email address you paid with and your Stripe receipt number, if you have it, within the 14 days. For a product where you ticked the consent box, you can cancel only if the download or access has not yet begun. This does not affect your rights if digital content is faulty or not as described (see section 3).

3. Faults and delivery problems

If you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, at no cost to you, within a reasonable time. If that's impossible, or we don't do it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you're entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to the full price.

If faulty digital content damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to have the damage repaired or to compensation.

If digital content is faulty, corrupted, incorrectly delivered or materially different from the product description at the point of sale, contact us so we can provide an appropriate remedy where required.

4. Subscriptions

We don't sell subscriptions. There are no renewal charges to cancel.

5. Support scope

Support is limited to product access, downloads, billing, licence queries, factual corrections and product-update queries. It does not include legal or regulatory interpretation, emergency incident response, implementation work or review of buyer systems.

6. Requesting help or a refund review

Email [email protected] with your name and the email address you paid with. Tell us the product, the purchase date and what's wrong, and add your Stripe receipt number if you have it. Payment-provider processing times may vary after a refund is approved.

7. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Operational intelligence disclaimer

Secordit Intelligence products are operational intelligence and preparation materials. They do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee regulatory outcomes. Buyers should verify current legal requirements against official sources and seek legal advice where required.

9. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

10. Model cancellation form

If you want to cancel, you can email us or complete and return this form (you don't have to use it).

Cancellations

We don't sell subscriptions, so there's nothing that renews and nothing to cancel each month. Every Secordit kit is a one-off digital download.

If you want to cancel an order, section 2A of our Refund policy explains your 14-day cancellation right for digital content and when it ends. Section 3 explains your rights if a kit is faulty or not as described.

To cancel, email [email protected] with the email address you paid with and your Stripe receipt number, if you have it.
